About the Lab

• Prof. Xiao Yu Lab is dedicated to investigating the molecular mechanisms underlying the initiation and progression of hepatopancreatobiliary surgical diseases, with a primary focus on translational research in pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer.
• Our research closely integrates clinical diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic diseases by collecting and analyzing clinical samples and data, combined with molecular biology experiments and bioinformatics analysis, to deeply explore the biological mechanisms of disease initiation and progression. We aim to discover novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets, thereby promoting the translation of basic research findings into clinical applications.
• The laboratory currently comprises two main research teams focusing on pancreatic cancer and pancreatitis, with members possessing specialized expertise in cutting-edge fields including molecular biology, bioinformatics, and computational pathology.
